You like email, I like RSS, others like web forums. Now we all get to
join.
The old system was held together with gum and string - a concoction of
aging nntp servers, web archives of nntp servers and mailing list
software that is about 10 generations old now. It regularly dies and
needs to be kicked and posts show up in email, RSS and on the web out
of sequence or occasionally are missing entirely in on channel.
The Forum gives us everything we had before except:
1. Posting via Email
2. NNTP access.
