The wheel evolved?

Do they make them in shapes other than circular?

I, for one, am a great believer in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

And don't bother to improve on it either? In case you haven't noticed, they 
make them out of rubber now. It took them awhile to
discover that stone and wood didn't work all that well. Or do you still have 
stone or wooden wheels on your car? Or should that be
horse and buggy? (And I mean that in the kindest and most gentle way deserving 
the post.)
