What first turned me on to the Doobie Brothers music? 1975. spring. Freshman in high school. Made the tennis team. One of the other players gave me a ride home from practice one day in his yellow VW bug, and was listening to an 8-track tape of The Captain and Me. China Grove was the first song that happened to come out of it. Need I say any more?     Pete in Maine
