First real memory of Doobies music that I can put a date with was around February 1974
when I was a junior in high school. On a cold, snowy, secluded, country, dirt road,
in the back seat of a 1969 Ford Torino, Listening to the Music from the Captain and Me
8 - track tape. WOW! After hearing this several times, it was Clear as the Driven
Snow that I was hooked. I loved the music and went out and bought the album. It is
now worn out and it was the hardest one for me to find on CD. I vaguely remember
China Grove before this but it wasn't the music my friends and I listened to so I
guess I really missed out on something then. Now it's a Natural Thing. I listen to
the Doobies everyday and some Saturdays I have a Doobie marathon while cleaning house.
 There's nothing like it.

Janet

P.S.

For all the dirty minds out there, nothing happened, but I had a good time.
