That rap artist you were thinking about is Warren G.  He sampled "I Keep 
Forgettin'" in his song "Regulate".  His song hit #2 on the charts - 2 
positions higher than Michael's original in 1982.  The single sold over a 
million copies!  I'm sure Michael enjoyed those royalties.
