I can't think of any rap artists sampling from the Doobies, but I can think of a rap group that has done one of the same songs. The group is DC Talk (who, by the way, backed up Michael McDonald on "Ain't That Peculiar" on the new Blue Obsession album), and they covered Jesus Is Just Alright. DC Talk does not do as much rap as they used to, but are actually a rock group now.
