I have been a member of the Fan Club for almost 2 years and have contributed
little but have have read all the e-mails. Just got my copy of SR from
CDNOW in today's mail. There are five (5) songs that immediately jump out
at me, in this order: (1) 45th Floor, (2) Ordinary Man, (3) Don't Be
Afraid, (4) People Gotta Love Again and (5) Five Corners. The other eight
(8) songs will grow on me, I know, just like all the other songs from
1971-on that didn't jump out at me from the first.
45th FLOOR!!!!!!!! This is a like, WOW song!!!!!! Tommy's lead vocals
sound great here and the song just gets my toes-a-tappin'! Ordinary Man and
Don't Be Afraid are beautiful ballads.
