I agree with my buddy Debbie! After all, people love to hear about scandal
and stuff, but hopefully the Doob's music will shine through! Warmest
greetings to all!

True on the VH1 Behind the Music stories sometimes being long on scandal and
short on good deeds, but BTM can also introduce a whole lot of people to the
Doobies' music who weren't familiar with it before and in addition this can
 generate some good publicity.

I personally think that overall BTM is an excellent show. I have learned a
lot about music of some groups out there that I didn't know anything about
before. BTM also has the curiosity factor--if you hear some music that you
like, investigate the individual or band further on your own after seeing
the
show. I still say let's give ourselves a collective pat on the back--we
bugged VH1 for a good long time to get this to happen, and now let's see
what
VH1 comes up with. I, for one, am eager to see it. My popcorn and VCR are
 ready.
