 May I add my kudos to VH-1 for their excellent BTM on the Doobie Brothers.
Since I've been following the Doobies since 1973 I didn't think there was
anything left to learn but there certainly were some things in there I never
knew (the struggles between Skunk and Michael McDonald, some of the harder
drug stuff with Keith). I know a lot of people were hoping some of the "dirt"
wouldn't show up in the piece, but the "dirt" is all part of the life a top
band faces. All in all though, BTM showed the Doobies as a band of extremely
talented musicians and writers who have played for the past 31 years just
because they love to play the music and we love to "Listen To The Music".
