Can you stand another bio? If you haven't hit Delete already,
here goes: I'm Pete Grant. I live in Bath, Maine with my wife Katie, who is way
too good to me, and 2 step-kids Ryan, 17 and Sarah, 15. Been a Doobies fan since
1975 - in the spring of my freshman year of high school I went out for the
tennis team, and one day Andy Spaulding gave me a ride home from practice. He
had an 8-track tape player in the car (a bright yellow VW bug) and in it was The
Captain & Me, and in the 5 minutes it took to get to my house China Grove
happened to play. I probably don't have to try very hard to convince anyone that
I was hooked right then and there. I had never made it to a Doobies
concert for a variety of reasons until July of '99 when Katie surprised me with
a pair of front-row tickets to the show in Boston. Have been to 4 more shows
since, including Saratoga last year, and can't wait to get to another show! I've
been in the fan club since January of '99, and have had just a great time with
it! Reading all the posts, Thursday night chats, conversing with some of you
from time to time via email, and having met some of you, well, it's just been
great. I feel very lucky to be a part of this.
