The best show that I saw was the Doobies with the Steve Miller Band,
in the Concord, California Pavilion...it was a show to raise money for
the family of Bobby LaKind who passed away from an illness at a very
young age, who was with the band for many years as a "roadie" first and
then as a percussionist. Also performing with both bands was Norton
Buffalo, one of the best Harmonica player's I have ever heard.....also,
many of the other Dobbies who played with the band off an on over the
years appeared...i.e, Michael McDonald, Hartman, Tryone....
