is there any guidance on what we are expected to hack? Does it need to be
something for the DeLorean? Does it have to be based on hardware a sponsor
provides? Will we be forming up teams like they do for Startup Weekend?

Can I bring a project that I've wanted to work on but haven't done anything
other than gathering the hardware pieces?

Is Paul going? Then you can just give him the $1000 prize now. (Not that
I'm going with expectation of winning).
