Looking at the Portland Prize list this sounds more like a software event versus a hardware event? I was considering going but if it's going to mainly be about web and mobile apps I'm not sure. Given the name I assumed there would be more of a hardware focus.
Perhaps this is more a case of using the hardware platforms provided? I know this is a new event so maybe no one knows for sure.
