I'm the leader for this workshop. Ideally, everybody would use the latest 
possible build, but I know some distros/packagers don't keep up with KiCad's 
bleeding edge. If you can't use something that new, I would like people to at 
least use builds that are less than six months old, as they have made a ton of 
changes to how libraries function. If you can't get a build newer than, say, 
revision 5150, we'll make do. I've used KiCad for several years now, and can 
improvise as necessary. In fact, the whole workshop will be improvising. :-)
