Hmmm, I've used a number of the nightly builds and never had a problem with no 
cursor. If you mean no full screen crosshairs, then yeah, that hasn't been a 
feature of the Mac version for quite a while if I remember correctly. There are 
definitely differences between various platforms with regard to UI details like 
that. 
And there are still some quirks in the Mac version due to the graphics toolkit 
that KiCAD uses for much of the interface. But the new CERN features use OpenGL 
which works much better in the Mac. And even the older graphics features are 
getting a lot more attention from developers on the Mac. The progress in the 
last year has really be impressive.
