However, there is one alternative to getting a hold of Avnera chips to consider is to contact them directly, even via their sales folks, and ask for some engineering samples and datasheets for a product idea that you are working on. It will cost you some time, effort and salesmanship, but you could get some parts for free...something to think about anyways.
