I have a salvaged laptop LCD screen that I would like to use as a monitor for a
Raspberry Pi display.
The model number on the back of the LCD screen is B154EW02I found some
controllers on eBay that claim to work with this LCD screen model number, for
example, I found this one for $29.99: HDMI Controlle Driver Board For B154EW01
B154EW02 B154EW0 1280x800 14.1INCH LCD

I think this controller board would work but I don't need the DVI or VGA inputs
and I'd like to find a smaller/cheaper HDMI-only controller if possible.
Does anyone had any experience with re-purposing a laptop LCD screen as a
monitor? If so, what controller did you use? Where did you buy it? How did it
work out? .. etc.
Thanks,Scott
