There is now an ePetition about this (see http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/Digital-Economy/). There aren't many signatories (134 so far) and that may be a reflection on how much notice has generally been taken of earlier petitions. However, the Phorm experiment was curtailed after one of these, so it's worth a pop. Somehow though I doubt it since the Government are the main instigators of this mess. -- Terry Coles 64 bit computing with Kubuntu Linux -- Next meeting: Bournemouth, Wed 2010-04-07 20:00 http://dorset.lug.org.uk/ http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=2645413 Chat: http://www.mibbit.com/?server=irc.blitzed.org&channel=%23dorset List info: https://mailman.lug.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/dorset
