I just don't know about the changes and new features that go in the news file. Do you have some goals in mind for a release? It would be great to set some goals and stabilize before releasing it this time, but with such a lack of developer time it may not happen. I can make some kind of release for SF, I see most of it is out of date on there. But I think distro packages are what most people are using. Are you suggesting we update the news file, stabilize what there is now and release it? BTW, I think that link above is obsolete now, and that was before fedora existed, taking the current git has been the way its done for a while now.
