Yes, architecture is x86_64. And the error certainly seems to be new, but I 
don't know when it was introduced. I have a 2010-era Vmware machine with Ubuntu 
Lucid (10.04) and the Ubuntu build of dosemu, and the problem is definitely NOT 
present.
