yes I can confirm it's a regression and found the offending commit ( commit 6882838ccb1b2269e7d169b3bc1e66edd8c50d2b Author: Bart Oldeman <bartolde...@users.sourceforge.net> Date: Mon Sep 7 16:27:52 2009 +0000) so it's a pretty old regression.
