That's good, at least better than to abandon completely. :) It would be a shame if someone takes a "very buggy" git by chance, but, if it was taken from "master", the "coloured cap" cannot happen; its just better to fix the bug instead and ask to re-package.

Yes, that should be the case. But, out of sudden, "devel" happened to have so many big or untrivial changes, that no one seems to be willing to spend the time on sorting them out and merge to master.
