They better rebrand it because if you go to the site it is branded as .NET Alerts all over the place.

Just that the rollout has slowed until the world is ready. -----Original Message----- From: Srinivasa Sivakumar [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, April 11, 2002 2:37 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [DOTNET] Hailstorm is dead Keith, The .NET Alert is an integral part of .NET My Services and whatever is available today is called MSN Alerts. They're not based on .NET My Services. If the .NET MY Services are dropped, so do the .NET Alerts! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Keith Franklin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, April 11, 2002 11:12 AM Subject: Re: [DOTNET] Hailstorm is dead Hailstorm dead... With the talk that we went to this morning the concepts that Hailstorm provided are still very much on Microsoft's radar. So is Hailstorm Dead. I doubt very much that it is. What are they doing? My guess (if this report is valid at all) that they are pushing it back for a number of reasons. People/Business's are just not ready for the idea. After a year or so of XML Web Service adoption it will be re-introduced. And some of them will trickle in through Microsoft products including XML Web Services like MapPoint .NET, .NET Alerts (To me the most likely to be used today), .NET Passport, etc. Make sure it plays well with the new Web Service specs coming out (Like WS-Security which was announced today by MS, IBM and Verisign) So I look at it as the rollout will be much slower then thought. -----Original Message----- From: Chesnut, Casey [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, April 11, 2002 9:10 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [DOTNET] Hailstorm is dead agreed, it'd take ALOT more than 15k to build. www.brains-N-brawn.com/clubMap casey -----Original Message----- From: Jason Lavigne [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, April 11, 2002 10:00 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [DOTNET] Hailstorm is dead And worth every penny.
