I'm sorry you are not having a good experience.  My experience with
DevExpress has been very positive.  Their quality, features and value
seem to out-shine the larger vendors(we are using the COM components
suite in C++ and VB).  I agree that support sometimes takes a while and
the the doc could be better.  These things aside, their stuff seems
really solid.  I am looking forward to migrating to the .Net suite with
source code.
