wow, does this mean that you can't DL and run a managed assembly from
mozilla; boy, that is going to stir things up (again).

I still think that .net should not have used the .exe extension at all;
going to a new extension lets you a) do a handler for all browsers without
such ugly hacks, b) spoils the fun for those people doing a native virus
onto the PE header, and c) stops making it acceptable for users to click on
.exe files on remote sites.

As it stands we are still trying to educate people not to open vbs, exe or
html files from web sites or email, .net complicates the education as the
"remote exes untrusted" rule has been replaced by the "remote exes may be
safe, click on it to see" policy. Sigh.
