Well, now I am apparently the subject of an attack <http://www.kuro5hin.org/story/2002/5/12/03311/9485%22> about my rant Its <http://radio.weblogs.com/0105852/stories/2002/04/21/itsTheRuntimeStupid .html> The Runtime Stupid , which is mean spirited, calls me "an elitist programmer with a web log" (attacks Sam Ruby too) and misses the whole point. I have received dozens of positive comments and links. This is the only negative comment ever on it actually. But the elitist nonsense bothers me. I have given up hundreds of hours of my free time on C# Corner and on the DM .NET Mailing List where I am an acknowledged member of the community.
