I come from the multi project mindset. I have a project for my web services. I have another one for the contracts that are needed. I also have another project for the BizLayer that the WS project will call for all processing. I then have a project for my DAL.
Last pieces is the project for consumption of all that above. It could be ASP.NET, WinForm, WPF or Silverlight. Because it is all in multiple projects I can mix and match as needed. .........................
