Hello JM, I've been trying to download and burn both CD and USB, doudoulinux-gondwana-1.2-es.iso and doudoulinux-gondwana-1.2-es.img The sha1 checksums are both correct as from DDL page.
The CD burns and boots although it is much slower than from USB (as I remember :), but the USB will burn/write using the DDL procedure; however, it will not actually boot and run. They show the beginning page, then they stop, saying there is a problem with X. I'll do them again and take pictures if that seems useful. I've used liveusb-write, dd both form the iso and img, unetbootin. So far, they don't want to run on anything I have. Other USB iso's, dd and run with no problem. I've tried both the iso and img with similar results. Maybe I just need to have a cup of tea and start over more methodically. :) The 1.2-es.iso is running of all 4 PCs in the preschool.
