I think this is an installed DDL, isn't it? I'd say you have to recompile locales to see your changes (no need to reboot), have you done this? To do this you have to open the console and type: $ sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales Locales get recompiled once you've chosen the default locale. > 2. most of some GUI windows bigger than screen size. I've seen in VirtualBox quite a long time ago that several applications seem to be designed for screens at least 1024 pixels wide. A trick could be to use screen panning for these applications, as we are doing for small screens like the EeePC one (less than 800 pixels wide or 600 pixels high). If you want to make trials, open the console again and type something like this: $ xrandr --output LVDS --panning 1024x768 where LVDS should be replaced with the name of your active screen (type xrandr alone to find it). > 3. my lenovo with nvidia graphic display only black screen. Yes we need to know the age of your computer to determine whether this is an issue related to drivers that are too old or that are buggy. > 4. liveusb-write do not work. It says something like "file not > found or file selected is not iso file" everytime I select > iso. It may be linked to the issue Sergey recently reported: http://team.doudoulinux.org/issues/659 There are additional new line characters in commands output text that make the next commands fail. Please test the script attached to this ticket: http://team.doudoulinux.org/attachments/77/liveusb-write -- Cheers, JM.
