indeed this kind of ping-pong effect might be a way how
two Eclipse configurations that work fine alone
suddenly get into this cycle when connected into
a Saros session.

So the question is: Do the partners each have a plugin that may 
occasionally modify MANIFEST.MF (which is a rather
special file with a special role)?
