Have you tests using hangouts? As far as I know, Google shut down XMPP support
for their products at some point.

The listed servers in this sections are far from being reliably. If it is not
possible to establish Socks5 connections then the listed servers should not be
used. In fact an IBB connection will be established but this connections can
has very high latency and very small bandwidth available (typically only 4
kB/s) which can result in a very laggy session depending on what you are doing.
