How do we deal with these? If we respond to the message does the
original poster get a copy of the response? I think this one *could*
be fixed by just validating the variable before testing it's value (as
demonstrated below) - but I have no way of testing it.
Place this as the first line of the handleResize event:
if (typeof gowidth == "undefined") { gowidth = -1; }
I also don't know the extent of how this variable is used - perhaps a
better 'default' value would be more effective.
