Hi Monty, > Is it too late to chime in on the quicklaunch topic?
Not at all. > Is it possible to make this an add-in? IMO its too > redundant with the quick-launch toolbar... The thing is that it's *not* just a quick-launch replacement. That's close to what the search I built for it does, but the functionality it exposes provides the ability for searches and addins to both create an alternate view-port of the DQSD toolbar, which can be used for pretty much anything. It is readily toggled between the two views, defaulting to 'normal' DQSD view. Without these, or at least similar, changes to the search.htm, I don't know that it's possible to manipulate the toolbar in this fashion either in scripts or add-ins. These changes really are a necessary search.htm modification in order to provide the ability to do major interface changes via code later. You can always disable the floax search (the one that operates similar to a quick-launch replacement) if you aren't going to use it. ;) Regards, Shawn K.
