I should have mentioned that although the color of the gobutton and
mgobutton don't match the toolbar, it is the menu color that is used and
the desktop will have this color throughout.. Of course you cant see
this from the little graphics I previously sent..

Hey All,

What do you think about this:

I have been messing with the css styles for the toolbar in an attempt to
make an acceptable common css style that will work with xp and another
os.

I came up with something that I don't think looks bad.. I included some
sample pics from my xp machine running xp silver, green and blue and a
snapshot or two of the toolbar from my win2k box.

The biggest flaw is the vertical text alignment in the textarea... on
the xp boxes it looks a little high.. on the win2k box it looks a tad
low.. But I think both are acceptable.. of course the xp style
isn't meant to be a better solution than the graphic based overlays that
make the toolbar truly blend into the taskbar, but maybe a more
appealing default look.

I also included the css stylesheet settings I made.. I also removed a
couple of hardcoded display options from the search.htm..

Comments anyone? Bad or good?

Monty
