Yeah, I'm not out to slam anybody, and your fixes seem good - the onload
handler is a great addition.

It's just that there's never so much activity in this project as when a
release is approaching, and I'm afraid we'll add some half-baked ideas, and
people will complain. Better to fix all known issues first, and then start
with new fun things. For those of you not in software business (anyone?),
there's even a name for it:
