Yup. I'm not running Vista anywhere, but I think DQSD's lifetime, in its current state, is limited. I _do_ think that a Vista gadget with the same type of extensibility would be very nice. I'm convinced someone with enough time, energy, motivation, and know-how could probably come up with a nice Vista gadget similar to DQSD, possibly even consuming the same search files, or at least of port of those search files. Time, energy, motivation, and know-how.
