Could you please try replacing the file DQSDTools.dll with the one from here: http://www.indcomp.co.uk/dqsd/DQSDTools.zip You will need to close DQSD and logout/in (or possibly reboot) before you can overwrite the existing dll. I don't expect that this will work better, but it should offer better diagnostics...
