Unnoticed a predator stalks through the morning forest. Fresh forest kisses
the landscape adding a shimmer to the shadows cast by the towering trees.
the sounds of a few birds of pray caw through the grounds and then a hawk
perches itself upon the branch of a near by tree. it stands proude a king
hunter of his own right, and then its head and beak tuck downwards to begin
to pick and clean at its own feathers.

A crashing sound of a bounding predator can be heard within the not so far
off distance , the mighty hawks head tilts observingly at the setting , and
then its eyes grow wide comeing near face to face with this racing creature
, it caws sharply startled and in fear , as along golden tail swipes across
the branch , the bird soaring up to escape form what ever this was that just
passed by. the only reminces left is a scratch on the side of the tree , a
indentation left where the bark was removed when the tail swiped by it.

Soon this hunting creature comes to a glen not to far away form some form of
castle , within the glen is a number of white-tailed deer that dot the land.
With no hunters, and little more than a few peasants that know of there
feeding grounds to threaten their existence, they would logically be tame
creatures. Yet, possessed of that odd food-chain logic, they never let their
guard down. For all their strength and hardiness, deer know their place. The
beauty of their gait always contains a tinge of caution, even as their fawns
run and bleat cheerfully, blissfully unaware of their sordid purpose. The
cougars agree: such devotion to a Gods given attitude exists nowhere else in
the world. It takes very little to alarm the entire population of deer.

The beast silently halts, and has his work cut out for him. To kill without
alerting every deer in a five-mile radius is a daunting task; it takes
phenomenal finesse, and the situation is unique. There are no natural
predators, and for all their wariness, the deer are still somewhat appeased
by the calm. The conditions are ideal for a kill, but if he is not cautious,
he will starve quickly as the deers' sensibilities awaken. He was not meant
to have this kind of demand put on him at such an early age; for all her
skill, the mighty lioness never has to keep herself secret. this beasts
appearance does not help: his wings and horns are early warnings if not
artfully camouflaged, and the golden scales that illuminate his body like
the shimmering of the sun itself are not good for hideing.. His wings are
useful tools for other purposes, but flight is the easiest way to get
unwanted attention as such a large creature. No deer can ever see him and
live to tell about it.

He waits for what seems to him to be hours just crouched down on his hind
legs watching and waiting, then a young buck wromps himself form the pack to
water himself alone by the babbling brook, this creature wastes no time. An
opening was given and he takes it , calming this tasty creature as his own.

The sounds of its claws digging into the ground are heard well , as its
sharp talons cut within the earth like swords cleaving into its foes armour.
His large wings snap out each one section of its wings at a time to expand
to his glorace length that is nearly one hundred feet long form wingtip to
wing tip , mayhaps someone at the castle in the distance may be able to see
the brilliance of golden light reflected there , but he cares not at this
moment.

The beasts body leers back and then he leaps upwards into the air , useing
his hind legs to prepelle himself and lift himself upwards , it is a short
distance for this one to his targeded meal. this beast then swoops down
captureing the main body of this buck within both of its front talons , and
then its long head lashes down with the assistance of his long neck , much
like a cobra biting down on its victim , he lashes down to this deers neck.
but instead of the cobras venom his own raw power and strength are the
deadly forces here , and within sheer seconds the sound of bone breaking is
heard , the deer goes limp within this beasts talons , lifeless , its neck
has been broken , nearly ripped off.

With a swoop of its magnetic wings the hunter lands with its spoils of a
silent war , the war between nature and predator and pray, once he lands he
wastes no time to enjoy its victim , its large maw ripping into the flesh of
this deer. ripping and tearing out shreds of meat which it greedily devowers
into his hungry stomach. Until all that is left of its pray is a shredded
remains of bone and hide .. The mighty hunter then raises its long neck
stretching it to its impressive length letting out a triumphant whale into
the landscape , the distinct roar of a dragon. Some may think this sight as
a morbid and grotesque one , but to this dragon this is his meal , no
different then when a human sits down to dine on a bowl of stew or a steak.
everything eats to survive in there own ways.

this beast then lifts its wings again , stretching them out once again to
there impressive length , and then every muscle of its body , arching ever
so slightly like a hunting cat. then its body snaps around as it hears
humans growing closer to it, just out of his sight and hearing to leave them
in slight mummers. No he is not ready to be seen , not like this...

And then with a single bound his body takes flight within the horizon ,
giving the villagers or whom ever is encountering this area a impressive
view of his own dragonic body. they would see a large golden dragon its body
looks to be about 60 feet long , with a tail that stretches out near then
half of his bodies length. at the end of its tail is a hook of blade like
appanage that digs and rips into the ground at the simplest touch , much
like the grim reapers scythe. Its wings that flap effortally through the air
, making there own cutting sounds are approximately 100 feet long or more
tip to tip. and created on this creatures head is a crown of golden horns
that luster within morning sun.

Soon this hunter disappears within the clouds , where it is going unknown to
the others...
