Myles lead Crysania to the front door of the abandoned house he had found a time back, and now was used to keep Crysania safe from the daylight until she could meld with the earth or Myles found a place to stay within Mysthaven

Crysania walks next to Myles, an arm wrapped around his. Her eyes taking everything in. everything seeming new and different. She waits to learn about her new life, waits for new experiences. "That night you sat in the Inn.... I looked into your eyes, and the more I have done that the easier it has been to connect with you." It is naught but an old abandoned cabin long since forgotten in the woods. He would soon take her to the city to let her feed, and from there he could find a suitable place for them to stay away from the suns rays. Crysania tilts her head slightly and looks into Myles eyes. She focuses on them then pushes slightly with her mind, wondering if she would be able to do the same trick. ~How is reading a mind different than speaking mind to mind? ~

~ I can speak into your mind, but reading it can be blocked unless a bond is created or one knows how to manipulate another ~ Myles shields off his mind from her for now not wanting her to see all to fast.  Crysania feels something blocking her mental reach then backs away. She would settle for simpler things for now...mental exercises could come later. "What will you teach me now then?" Hunger edges her thoughts, but with the drink earlier, she is able to force it away. "You must never allow yourself to be caught too far away from you haven before sun up the suns rays will burn you to ash Crysania," he stops and looks and turns looking her deep in the eyes, "I created you and hope to have you by my side forever...." Crysania senses the seriousness of the matter and nods. She had already known that sunlight was dangerous to Myles...but now it was to her. For a moment she longs to see the sun. It settles in her mind that never again will she see sunlight on water. But then she returns Myles's gaze and thinks of what she has gained. Never alone again. "Fear not, I will be at your side. I have never done anything to put my life in danger, and I don't plan on starting now"

"And like I said before we live a masquerade to others human and kindred alike, never let them know your true nature. Once you learn more I will teach you to meld with the land and a haven won't be needed as often." holding out his arm he moves on to the house with her. Crysania nods and makes a mental list of rules for her new life. She looks at the cabin in interest now, noting the age of it. The glass in the windows is cracked, some panes missing altogether. It smells of decaying wood and animals. She knows that rats and mice make this place their home, and humans haven't been here for a long long time. "Is this a haven then? An abandoned place that is a home only to animals?" Crysania looks at the holes, "how will it keep sunlight out?"

"There is a room within that I have taken care of, it will work for a few days until we head into Mysthaven, and..... well this is only temporary my artist" he gives her a smile, "I will have you living better soon my dear." Crysania returns the smile, "I do not mind this place much. Indeed...I think being in a town would be overwhelming right now." She could already sense so much around her as it is, the thought of having to deal with people too does indeed sound like too much. She doesn't mind the animals anymore. At one point living with a mouse would have made her eep, now...nothing. It is something that must be done, and this she accepts. Is this your own haven then?  Or...you mentioned melding into the earth.  You don't need walls around you to be safe from sunlight? She asks of Myles. I have traveled with the pack for so long I have had no need for a haven, but now I have you, and I need a change...." he leads her thru the opening of the front door, there is no door just an opening. Dirt and dust cover the room that is rather empty accept a broken chair in the corner.  Crysania enters the room and almost feels comforted by the dust. It is calm, like a fallen snow covering everything. Dust marks age, yet is ageless. She turns back to Myles at the mention of the pack. "The wolves...they will stay with us?" She puts her arms around Myles and leans against him, wanting the contact of touch. "Yes they will stay with us, and if we go to Mysthaven they will roam the woods nearby always close...." he holds Crysania tights as he leads her down a short hall leading to another dark abandoned room with one window boarded up and a blanket hung over it. A small bed is set a blanket covers looking out of place having been rebuilt and held together with rope a straw mattress... "I will stay with you for the next few nights to make sure your safe."

Crysania looks closely around the place, and despite its age, appear to be sturdy enough to keep out the light. She does this to reassure herself. Its an interesting concept that something as simple as light could hurt her now. But she wasn't about to test the theory. She looks back out the doorway they came and at the night. "How much darkness is there left?" She only dimly remembers the other night...her first daytime sleep. "We have a few hours.... in fact we may go to see the Inn tonight yet...."he left it hang at the possibility. "Not only day light, but fire also, but worst yet are people that may hunt us, this I only know from my sire." he leads her over to the bed lets her sit while he sits upon the floor leaning against the bed. Crysania enjoys the smell of the fresh straw in the bed and the feel of the soft blanket. Her eyes seem to light up at the mentioning of the inn. "Oh! We could go and I can get the rest of my paintings...and my paints, charcoals, pencils..." She tries to remember what else was left in the inn. It was only two days ago that she was there...a lifetime ago! "Would there be anyone at the inn that would hurt us? I remember some people there didn't like you..."

"One there knows what I am, yet I know not how.... but I think that is all." Replied Myles. Crysania finds her hand reaching for her side and she remembers another thing at the inn...her sword. "Ah, my sword. Once we get to the inn, and reunited with my sword, I will be able to fend off any who try to harm me." She is confident in her abilities...not yet knowing the boundaries to their fullest. Myles "I have not used a weapon since my embrace..." he laughed lightly.
