Myles begins teaching Crysania. And the bard is the lesson.

Myles leads Crysania into the clearing surrounding the Inn ... he searches with his mind to see if Vash the elf is about or the wolf Kylie. "If all goes well my artist you will get to feed, but if your not ready let me know, and I will take enough for us both," he holds out is arm to escort his artist to the front door of the Inn to mingle with the humans within. Crysania steadies herself, for now she can smell the people within and the hunger surges. She fights it down and continues on. Pushing the door open, she enters the inn.

Myles leads Crysania in to a shadowed corner of the inn ~we will see what the night has to offer~ Myles speaks within Crysania's mind, ~remember the masquerade my childe~. Crysania holds onto Myle's hand, feeling a bit lost with all the humanity and the surging hunger. ~I remember the masquerade...~ She studies the group then looks over at the door to the rooms. ~Should I get my sword now? ~

All the while the Inn is full of commotion with the late evening crowd. Guests whom are staying the night spend a leisurely evening sipping drinks while locals filter in and out of the Inn exchanging gossip and what nots with each other as per any other normal night. Khelti lounged upon the couch in front of the fireas Theodore lounges in one of the overstuffed wing backed chairs facing the hearth. His soft blue eyes were closed and he cradled a goblet of wine in his left hand. He wore a suit of fine traveling clothes, wearing several rings upon his right finger. Each one denoted some significance; perhaps only to him, perhaps to the society in which he belonged. He heard in his mind not the bustle of the inn but a melody he'd recently been unable to forget.

"It can wait my childe I will get it for you before we leave.... just watch, and learn observe your senses," Myles orders two glasses of wine, not knowing if Crysania will be able to drink and eat like him. Crysania hides herself deeper in the shadows, using them almost like a cloak. Everything is so much louder than before, and so much brighter. She begins to narrow her focus and concentrates on the individual people...The redhead who seems to be impatiently getting drunk...the dozing people near the fire... Myles notices Khelti sitting near the fire, and wonders if she too could sense him being in her Inn along with another of his kind. ~We must find one alone, and wait for them to leave or go to their room, a drunk is even better~ he normally only drank from evil individuals, but since that night meeting Kylie and Vash something in Myles changed. Crysania looks over the crowd once again and tries to search for a person that fits that description...there are a few that are alone. She glances at the yelling boy and fights the urge to cover her ears at the irritating noise, and the urge to make the noise stop. She pushes it away...she finds that focusing on one thing can push other annoyances out of her notice. She notices the man sitting by the fire...already groggy from wine.

Theodore His fingers drummed the edge of the chair, lost in his own world for those few moments, playing out the melody. Softly, and without knowing it, he hummed the notes, "Lelede lelede...doesede..." And then, Theo's world shattered. The screech of that child's voice ripped him from his realm of peace and he jolted about so quickly that he sloshed wine down his front trousers. "Dear gods.... must you be so loud?"

Myles watched the lives within play out.... if nothing he could find a sleeping person upstairs at most they would wake up tommorrow tired, but not the worse for wear, but Crysania had to learn to survive, and tonight was her first step. Crysania notices Myles with wine...~we can drink that? I thought...well...that we couldn't~ Crysania keeps an eye on Theodore...probably the only one drunker that the redhead. ~My sire could, and so can I, but it did take some time to get used to as if my body rejected it~ he took a sip to prove his point giving her a wink over the rim of the glass ~it does nothing more than help deceive~ Myles conveys to her mind.

Theodore frowned, scowling at everything, including the elven man who moved to settle near him. "Be careful...that insufferable brat just caused me to spill my wine...some is on the chair..." His blues eyes narrowed and he set the goblet to the table, not caring if it stained. He moved away, clearing his throat,  "M'lady...you better take a better handle " And as he saw her doing precisely that, he nodded in approval. "I shall bill the inn for my suit..." He sighed, looking down at it once more.

Crysania smiles, feeling a bit more comfortable in the crowd. She gets a glass of wine of her own and sniffs it...then takes a slight sip. She forces it to stay in her mouth as her body tells her that she needed something a bit thicker than wine to drink. Hunger flairs. She turns back to the crowd and tilts her head to Myles ~which one would you take? There's that one, ~ she sends an image of Theodore, ~who seems to be alone...and drunk, and nonviolent~. Myles too took notice of this man in the suit, he was a guest, and seemed to be a stranger to the area ... it would make things even easier. Myles arose from his seat leaving Crysania alone and made his way to the gentleman. "Don't you just despise unruly children," he says as he approaches the man, "Here sir let me buy you a drink, you appear to be a man of fine taste."   Theodore arched a brow as the man approached. He was still quite drenched along his trousers. "Uh...my thanks but I really need to get out of these...." In fact the feeling made him want to seek the garterobe. His blue eyes glanced over Myles and for the first time, noticed the woman behind him. He inclined his head toward her politely. "I do appreciate the gesture. Civility may just live on in this barbaric country."   Crysania leans against the wall and watches Myles at work. She gives up trying to drink the wine and settles for holding it. Every once in a while she raises it to her lips, but that is to keep up appearances. "Well if you wouldn't mind joining my friend and I ... after you change that is..." Myles motions to Crysania behind him, "We would love to share a glass of wine with one as noble as you kind sir."  Theodore chuckled a bit, "Oh, I'm not noble...but perhaps someday I will be knighted..." Theo notices the cat, a creature he has much affection for and he takes a moment to walk over to it since it was on the way toward the stairs but he stops as it deserts his post to head toward that insufferable brat. He turns back to Myles, studying him a moment,  "Yes, I'd quite like that...I could use an opinion or two about my work...."

"Fine ... Fine we will be waiting for you. I'll order you a wine while your gone." he turns back to Crysania and smiles he goes back to sit with her, and to order another wine. "All is well my artist..." Theodore inclined his head toward the woman again. She was appealing to the eye, but obviously, she was with that man. "Well, the bard hired to write a wedding theme for Her Majesty shall be right back..." He grinned, rather fond of his new title as he climbed the stairs to his room. Theo was humming the tune in his head, trying to see if it sounded right or not. Myles waits a few moments and stands taking Crysania by the hand two wine glasses in one hand, ~lets meet our new friend at his room shall we~ and leading Crysania up stairs Myles senses where the boisterous man had gone. Crysania takes her own wineglass in hand and stands.
