Hi All: I have a Heathkit HP-23 supply that I want to use as a substitute for the AC-4. Other than dropping the HV from 800 VDC to 650 VDC, are there any considerations I should know about? I plan to simply use a dropping resistor in series with the 800 VDC line. Is there a better way? Anyone out there using the HP-23?
