Well, I'm assuming your RX and TX have the original crystals. The WARC bands are covered by one "FS-4", so unless you wanted to transmit on one WARC band and receive another WARC band - or - a non-amateur band you're covered with a single unit.
I just couldn't think of an application for dual units off the top of my head!

I don't understand your point about dual units however. Do you "really" need the transmitter and receiver to operate "cross-BAND" on non amateur frequencies? Just what are you up to!?!? :-)
