This is very off topic for this reflector.... BUT


The times are changing!  Face the facts!  

This same discussion took place when SSB was introduced.... There goes
ham radio!  SSB is going to replace AM!  

OH DEAR!!  THAT WOULD BE THE END OF HAM RADIO AS WE KNOW IT!!

D-Star is just an other MODERN day digital modulation scheme. In the
next few years, all of the public safety agencies will be utilizing
digital.
