I am rebuilding my L4B's power supply. I have heard of some replacing the stock transformer with a Peter Dahl type which gives higher plate voltage. The goal is to bring the amp's RF output to 1500w.
Has anyone done this mod/upgrade? Is it worth the bother? Opinions, please. BTW- My present transformer is fine, I believe.
