I just finished installing a replacement BLUE LED display from Willi Rass, DF4NW, in my TR7, and all I can say is WOW, it sure looks COOL! Somewhere, Bob Drake is smiling right now.... This may be the first all-blue TR7 in the world - the ALC LED had already been replaced with blue years ago, and the dial and meter lamps are blue LEDs as well. I left the red and yellow indicators as-is, gotta have something there for accent! The result is a blue-er than original appearance. The purists are probably shuddering right now, but I like it! I can't say enough about Willi's product. The PCB is high quality and professionally made, and the display LEDs have a very even, pleasing color. I've been trying to take some pics, but my $100 digital camera just doesn't do it justice. If his red and green displays are anything like the blue one, this is not just a replacement, it's an UPGRADE. Standard disclaimers apply. YMMV.
