thanks Lanny and all.

Got the manual, "slip out" was difficult to say the least.  Had to use a lot of WD-40 and force.  Had small bits of ceramic rattling around inside and the unit is dead.  That is, I plug in the cables and no RX noises.  On TX it shows infinite SWR, even on Alternate or Direct, so something is either open or shorted to ground.  I start on the switches.  And, of course, careful conversation with the seller.

Subject: [drakelist] more stupid questions about MN-2000

Just received one bought off eBay.  In rough shape.  No manual, either.
So here's the stupid question: how do I get the cabinet off so I can get to the innards and see what's rattling around inside?
Another stupid question: is there a manual available on the web for download?
Will need rubber feet, paint and a front panel cleaning.  Maybe more after I check the inside and fire it up.

Thanks in advance.
