The cap is actually broken. There is a large chip of the material off
it, and you can see the inner 'metal'.
I guess, I may be able to measure the value, if I can seal the
material, but I won't put it back into the 2B.
I only have the schematic from BAMA. Guess I better find a good manual....
I have 2 Elecraft K2's, #769 and #5048, and the noise generator.
That's a very good idea to use their method, would never have thought of it.
I'm currently pairing the 2B with an Eico 723, which is getting a
complete rebuild, including re-copper plating te chassis.
I wish I could do that with the 2B!!!
