My Drake Model 7077 mic just died. I checked the cable and it is okay. It
looks like either the mic element or the high impedence matching transformer
is to blame. If I had to guess I would pick the transformer.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement audio matching transformer
for the mic?
Radio Shack sells (or used to sell) audio matching transformers but if my
memory serves me right, the Radio Shack transformers match 8 to 600 ohms --
NOT a high impdence mic like the 7077.
