"R. Ton" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> made an utterance to the drakelist gang

I think I've found a set of Drake 4C twins that might cure my longtime desire to own a set, but the transmitter and receiver are coming from different parties. I'm assuming that I'll be stuck building a set of interconnecting cables.

What are the specs for the cable? I've looked at the usual tech sources to no avail (seems like this would be a very common question). The manuals say that the injection and carrier oscillator cables need to be low capacitance, but there's no note for the other four cables. Some sources recommend RG-62 for the low-cap cables (isn't that pretty thick for this use?). And I assume the antenna cable should be 50 ohms.

Any sage advice from those in the know? Is there one type of cable that will work for all (and readily available)?

Thanks in advance!
