I want to thank all of you for your advice. Even though I followed the
instructions to adjust C6 for no carrier, it is more complicated than that.
I ordered a frequency counter to do the job right. I probably won't have it
until next week. I am hoping that all I need to do is adjust it with the
right tools. I am glad that this seems to be the biggest problem after over
25 years in storage. But how long do capacitors last? I inspected the AC-4,
jumpered it for on, and then energized it from a safe distance.
